Artist's Description
This is a series of pastel sketches of a jockey and rearing horse. The centre drawing shows the horse starting to rear as the jockey tries to keep control, then the rider attempts to stay in the saddle as the horse rears high into the air. Finally , both horse and rider fall to the ground. A great series of three images in black and white pastel.
About Tom Conway
Perhaps best known as a figurative artist, with an interest in history and vintage style.
