About Tom Conway
Perhaps best known as a figurative artist, with an interest in history and vintage style, along with strong influences from popart and french impressionist movements. Gradual development of an interest in digital art and photography has allowed me to experiment with different media and tools , producing images that don't exist in physical form until printed. I often combine my original drawings , paintings, and photo's with pixel based designs , many now available via FineArtAmerica. Images are available on canvas, as well as on a variety of fashion , fashion accessories, and tech giving a great opportunity to 'wear' art as well as display it ! After a quick check, Lily Tomlin's character "Ernestine" was on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.

I love this style phone. I think this style is called a Bakelite Pyramid Phone based on its shape. I kind of miss the old rotary dial phones. I like the sound that they make when you dial the number. Remember Ernestine on Saturday Night Live? Another thing I like about this phone (on the practical side) is that we didn't have to pay so much for the phone bill compared to the typical bill for a cell phone. It also allowed people much more time to do the things that were formerly enjoyed prior to the invention of the cell phone. Also, we didn't have to listen to listen to the endless options--if you want...press 1, if you want...press 2..., if you want...press 3 and so on. Push button phones try our patience.
